Posted October 12, 2018 04:00:00 A little while ago, the University of Minnesota created a new website, The Campus Climate Calculator, to help students make more informed decisions about their energy and sustainability.
The calculator, which now lists the energy and water consumption on each campus, was created in response to a University of California, Davis study on campus climate that found students who lived near or in the shadow of buildings or large structures were at increased risk of developing health conditions.
In a statement, the university said that the new calculator “provides students with an intuitive, simple and easy-to-use tool to help make informed decisions.”
