Which Australian school will be the most popular in 2018?

In an annual survey of school-leavers, a survey conducted by the Australian Institute of Education found that only 39 per cent of those surveyed would choose a secondary school, compared to 55 per cent who would choose an undergraduate degree.

The survey found that more than two-thirds (69 per cent) of respondents said they would not attend a primary school if they could.

However, it found that a majority (71 per cent), or 67 per cent, of students who had chosen an undergraduate or postgraduate degree said they did so because of its higher chance of higher employment and a better educational environment.
